My first thought was it was the best hour of trek since "Into the Pale

I do love me some Pike, though. I loved seeing him literally risking his
life for his crew, thought that the issue with Admiral April will come
back to haunt him, loved how he poured April's drink into his, and once
Una was back onboard, I snickered at the hug, followed by the pat on the
shoulder.

WHen Spock mentioned Una's secret (harkening back to one of the Short
Treks from Discovery) I laughed out loud by myself. My wife looked at me
quizzically, which she's been known to do when Star Trek is on.
