Well, I mean she did sacrifice herself and her ship to come to the rescue of ¨an embattled Klingon outpost, which led to the peace treaty between the ¨Federation and the Klingon empire. I'd say that's statue-worthy.

I just watched the last episode of TNG season one last night, where Worf ¨mentions that the Romulans are dishonorable because they attacked the colony ¨where he was born and killed his parents. Presumably this is around the same ¨time as the events of Yesterday's Enterprise... (on the other side of the ¨rift, I mean.)
