I think many people (at least in the US) probably have more than one TV (one in the living room and one in the bedroom - and maybe another in kids' bedrooms). 65" would make sense for a living room, but for a bedroom I think one a lot smaller would be just fine. I had a 32" TV in my bedroom that I no longer have (after a divorce), and later I got a 42" TV in my bedroom, which I think is just fine - I almost feel like 42" is slightly too big for a bedroom though.
