Subj : NOBODY To : All From : Ogg Date : Sun Jul 18 2021 09:55:00 Hello All! Just watched NOBODY last night. Very good. Never boring. I liked its overall dark atmosphere, protagonist with a mysterious past, the chain of consequences.. and a because of his daughter's missing kittybracelet. The mob boss psychopath was excellent. It is not unlike something I could picture Bruce Willis in as the lead, but this seemed fresh and different. There's a short scene about a minute or two after the start of the credits. The story ending is structured to be open for a sequel or "more to the story". The film had a very cool selection of music throughout. The film was reminiscent of what Quentin Tarantino might produce. The stylized and choreographed fighting scenes were well executed and well edited. The music and the wild/crazy action scenes are what reminded me of the Tarantino style. Some humour, but never in a cheap or disposable way. The scene with him reaching into his jacket pocket during "interrogation" is memorable. The film provides the backstory for that very nicely. --- OpenXP 5.0.50 * Origin: Ogg's WestCoast Point (21:4/106.21) .
