I don't know anything of why the switched to Harrison Ford, or if the part was even offered to Baldwin going forward. But Hunt for Red October was soooooo good, with Connery and the rest of the ensemble cast the bar was probably set too high. That movie is one of the very few I'd rate as better than the book - and the book was great. I should maybe reread some of the Clancy novels, I was a teen/early 20 when I read most of them, I read every spy novel I could get my hands on. --- RATSoft/FIDO v09.14.95 [JetMail 1.01] * Origin: STar Fleet HQ - Real Atari! - bbs.sfhqbbs.org:5983 (21:3/171) .
