Yes and yes.

It's on Disney+ and first aired.... week before this? (Nov 30 with 2
episodes and episode 3 was Dec 7).  It's releasing new episodes on
Wednesday if I recall correctly.

It's set about... 20-ish years after the movie?

Kind of a "you remember that evil thing I warned you would probably come
back?.... well.... it's back" kind of story.
