Terminal Entry is a real stinker. Terminal Entry is almost one of those movies that worked towards an 80s cheese aesthetic; like they were trying to make the movie they made, rather than tried to make something good and failed. One movie in my collection that people rarely talk about is the Commodore-heavy Hide and Seek, a Canadian made-for-TV movie loosely based on the novel The Adolescence of P-1. Early in the movie, the protagonist orders a pizza via modem. There are also some great shots of a nuclear power plant being run by Commodore 64s. In fact, aside from a portable TTY (like, a portable paper TTY one of the characters uses to dial in from a diner!), every computer in the movie is a Commodore of some sort. There's also a PET network at school through which the AI speaks to the protagonist. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjByXo8JVc0 --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A46 2020/08/26 (Linux/64) * Origin: Shipwrecks & Shibboleths [San Francisco, CA - USA] (21:1/227) .
