Subj : Wheel of Time

Anyone watched the Wheel of Time series?  Is it any good, and does it match
up with the books at all, or is it just "based" on the books?

I haven't read the books though they are on my list, but the preview for the
show I saw looked fairly decent and I was considering adding it to my watch
list.
