I liked the Sci-Fi channel version, partly because it felt like with the 
miniseries format they didn't have to adapt the book to a screenplay. They 
took the book verbatim, it felt.

One thing I wondered, I'll need to re-read the book. I thought Kynes was the 
one who spat on the floor in front of the Duke in Arakeen, not Stilgar. I 
didn't think they met in the book. It's been a while.

Looking forward to part 2, the best part of the story.
