Up until about a week ago, there was a truck in town that was  
selling Beaver Tails.  Sure, they were "interesting" the first  
time I tried one decades ago when I was skating on the canal in  
Ottawa. But I've never had another one since.

Is it the mushroom or the cheese that's supposed to kill ya? A
