My uncle also had a Nova, it was special. There was no indication on the body but it was an SS. It looked and sounded like any other car until you reved it up and heard the growl. It's on borrowed time though, for sure. I had an 87 van years ago. After a while the speedometer broke. I replaced it a few times and gave up on it.
