I just finished paying a $3500 (after tax) bill for suspension work. But I never had any large bills for the 10 years prior. I just did oil changes, and winter/summer tire swaps. But my steel wheels also look like crap with heavy corrosion. That would be roughly +$800 with new all-season tires. I don't think my rav4 needs the luxury of summer/winter tire swaps anymore. I hope that after I get undercoat done going forward, that I could still get 3 more years out of my vehicle - or long enough to pay off the $3500 +$800 with credit card, quickly, and enjoy a few years debt-free driving for a while. --- OpenXP 5.0.50 * Origin: Ogg's WestCoast Point (21:4/106.21) .
