I think I got you beat in the expense payout category. Just  
before winter, I spent about $5000CDN for: 2 new rear springs  
and shocks, 3 rotors, 4 wheels/rims, muffler and some related  
piping, new brakeline kit.

It's a 2007 RAV4.  116K km.

I would appreciate getting my $5000 worth for a few more years.

I was fortunate that my winter tires from 2012 still actually  
had plenty of tread.

But..I have to spend a bit more this Spring as I look to get  
separate wheels/rims and fresh summer tires.
