Its already > 10 years and some change old. My condolences. I have noticed modern cars make it extremely hard to plug in an off-the-counter radio. I don't know if such is the case with yours. It might be more cost effective for you to tape a 32 bucks handheld portable radio somewhere in the car. One of those which is battery powered. 2 bucks of betteries can get you running for a year :-) I know it is ugly but I would not be shilling 600 bucks for a car radio set.
