I agree, I think the risk is getting too high for everyone concerned.

Yeah, again that's not just for the elites.  A combination of cancellations and
future scheduling can have serious implications for us amateurs, such as when a
major international meet that's relatively close is impacted, the next
opportunity may not be viable due to cost of other reasons.  But it is what it
is, a pandemic respects no one. :/
