Haven't seen this until now (I mostly stick to the DoveNET Sports section), but the WBC this year seemed to be pretty much all about Shohei Ohtani, in the best way. I don't know if it did much for interest in the US, but it was definitely good to see more American stars take the thing more seriously. The highminded side of me is just glad that there's interest and parity, but the human side would really like to see Team USA get out there and kick ass more often. I couldn't agree more about Ohtani, though.
