With me graduating high school at one of the worst schools in the Oklahoma City area in the late '70's...never got to see a computer...except at Radio Shack & such. Was a junior in college before I took my 1st computer class to fulfill my math requirement for graduation. From there...never did drugs...but the drug for me was in chip form with a ZX81 I bought used for $5...VIC-20 used for $20...then the 64 when I saved $200 and got it by mail order in 1984. When I started out...worked/played on an Apple ][/HP 3000 in the computer lab. Now...am reliving those days with an emulation of the Apple hardware...especially the GS I never had a chance of using back in the day. ....
