In my case, when schools in my area were getting on the "computer bandwagon" Commodore had given them a "buy 2, get 1 free" deal that Apple and Radio Shack didn't (at that time - Apple started to give schools deals later on). So for all of High School, I worked on the PETs daily. Sometimes over lunch, sometimes in computer class. ....
