You have semi-gloss walls? That's a tad... unusual.. at least its exceedingly
unusual here...  I've used all sorts of things for screens, even sheets can
work well.  But if I'm looking for a wall, I usually setup the projector in
the approved location, power it up, mask the area off, and paint it in a
low-sheen, off-white/mushroom kinda light colour.  You can pick up old slide
projector screens cheep, like the budgie at times too..
