And presumably society will impose consequences on them for such behavior. "Cancel culture" is neither good nor bad, and it can be used for good or bad. I could agree that arguments against certain applications of "cancel culture" are valid, but arguing that "cancel culture" itself, or society's ability to self-regulate and pressure its members into conformity, is bad is a non-starter.
