had several multiplication routines that were optimised for different
scenarios. Clever programming at its best.

Yeah, Mac absolutely loved the beeb - everything else was a toy as far as
he was concerned. Fred Harris was a familiar face back in the early 80s,
so I guess he was always my favourite.
