Hi there,
I've recently modified a Philips MT-Telcom II modem for MSX computers
by desoldering the relays and replacing them with an ESP12 based WiFi
modem connected to the Intel UART in the cartridge.

It comes with a built-in but very plain (no VT terminal emulation, due to 40
columns of the MSX1 video) terminal program. I have successfully tested
this modification with my Sony HitBit HB75 and connected to Particles!
BBS in 40 column ASCII mode.
