Sometimes discounted, sometimes free.  In at least one case, the person in
question had a daughter who had a boyfriend.  One or both of them became
frustrated when it wasn't fast enough for them to watch porn on.  I don't
think person I gave it to ever figured that out.  I didn't know until I got it
back.  ;)
 
³ The "latest and greatest" effect had allowed me to buy my wife and

I have one of the earliest SE models.  I was using it as a Magicjack "home
phone" and wifi device until the battery apparently went bad.

My current phone is a moto.  Had some difficulties with it for a while
regarding android updates but, knock-on-wood, all of those have gone smooth
for quite a while now.  I like it.  I got it because a relative had one
they really liked.
