Those were the days... I used my 40Mb Coloardo, until it failed completely
and started unspooling tapes... I think we were backing up over... 8-10
tapes... taking about a half a day.

I was given some 3c503 network cards, and found it cheaper to buy a ratty ol'
286 with an HD in it, bang a second one on the other available channel and
share it from there... so more than half of the data back was being done over
network as well... Newer larger capacity drives remained outside my budget
for a while.
