There was a lot of usage here via Uni students.  There were a lot in the BBS
space, and for a short window every man and his dog was importing usenet into
BB systems.  Thats got to be here... early 93... it was not long beyond that,
then slip arrived and everything changed.

The only thing that changed in 95 here was Win95 eliminating the need to play
around with WinSock implementations.
