You probably could, we messed around with some and Applesoft.  But things can
get out of hand pretty quickly, unless they're only using common BASIC
commands/functions.  Otherwise you end up having to figure out what it does,
and then how you're going to do it, on whatever version you're working in.
Sometimes it becomes easier to use the original as a template and rewrite for
the new version of BASIC.
