Some games like Monster Bash and Dune II have higher conventinal memory requirments. Monster Bash won't work reliably with anything under 600k free at least that has been my experience with it. Dune II needs a lot of conventional memory if you also want sound blaster digitized sound effects... Most other stuff will be fine with 540k though. But I like dune II and Monster Bash is a really nice EGA platformer that has some of the best EGA graphics I've seen in a platformer from that period. Also the sound blaster support is nice & it has a decent sound track. ....
