I think beige and silver computer/electronic equipment just about left the
building hand in hand.  We got some interesting kitchen appliances.. my
Mother has a bright red fridge for arguments sake.  But most stayed white or
went to stainless.  But audio visual equipment pretty much went all black
along with PCs.
