As spec reveiled in a latter message it's a "ATX 12v" connector. They are
for powering the CPU, and was initially release when Intel did the
first/second generation of P4 CPU's.

Yeah, both Dell and HP are guilty of using non-standard power connections
for there small form factor mb's...
