I see this often, and the only common thing I can see is that its from Mystic.

I'd be curious to know if 1/100 has the corrupt message, confirming that the issue originated from Mystic, or if it is something that hpt does to a Mystic message that mangles it.

What's in your logs around the time the original message was sent? IE: Did it just export this message, or was it doing other things as well?
