My new Gigabyte MB has an 8-pin power connector instead of the 4-pin...
but you can plug a 4-pin connector into it if that is what your ATX power
supply has...

It seems to me that I ahve also seen 6-pin connectors on some MBs but I
might be mistaken...

I know my ATX power supply has the 8-pin connector that can be split in
half to give you 4-pins if that is what your mb needs.
