Much the same here. I don't buy much new equipment, a lot of perfectly
serviceable equipment gets tossed. I picked up a LaserJet 5L from a corporate
that tossed it, because it took to long to wake up from sleep mode. Nothing
actually wrong with it at all.

Occasioanlly you can find some really rocket ship system just sitting
forlornly on the side of the road, most tend to be fairly mid spec for their
age kind of setups though. And if you just scoop up everything you see, you
end up with a garage full of boxes most of which while useable may not be
real practical.

I picked up the current BBS box off the side of the road, an antique now
Shuttle Box with a core2 quad in it.  Been a combo of enough grunt to do most
work without drinking power.
