It is about BASIC turning 60 this year. This the language a lot of us cut
our teeth on and learned how to program in. How many posts have been
written about modifying some BASIC code for a BBS or something else? The
things we did back in the day with BASIC! We had to be smart in our
programming, watching memory sizes and making sure we packed as much code
on a line as we could. And the infamous GOTO and GOSUB commands - the
creators of spaghetti code!
