Oh man that really sucks, my heart goes out to you. I've had a few cockups
and near misses with my retro computing (recently partialy killed a Mmlti IO card because the unused IDE connector was rubbing up against a floppy drive
& killed the IDE controller) and it really sucks.

Don't lose heart, we all make mistakes and we learn from them.
