For that, you'd probably be better off with something more powerful than the
Z80era of computers.  Anything 8088 and up should work fine.

Also, that era of computer will have a modern, dedicated UART which will allow
higher serial port speeds.  Even better if you can track down a Hayes ESP
(Ehnanced Serial Port) card.

I feel your pain.  8)

I'm limited by desk space.  If I don't use my machines every so often, I feel
like I'm wasting them.  But I have to keep some of them in the shelves because
I have no desk space for them.  So that feeling of guilt keeps me from
acquiring more.
