I raided Tiny's and... something else... I forget who now, and also looked
over some SIMTEL images that are out there.  I found the easiest option was
file sharing, you might be able to manage SMB1 but I never got that to work
at any stage with DOS.  There are NFS clients out there though that'll work
with a minimum of fuss, and you can still get NFS servers for linux variants.
