I don't think there's any goo in these ones, they're paper with epoxy casing. It left some lovely ejected charcoal marks but it basically wiped away.

Call me superstitious but I decided to get some 400V polypropylene ones instead - a bit more room for degradation before they give up and hopefully not as smelly if they do :)

Just returned to the loft and it still smells of toasted RIFA up here :(
