In the case of PiNet, anyway, he did cut a bunch of dead ones out, which
helped for a while.  That was a good net when it started but, once the "pi
mania" period sort of passed, so did the network.

Otherwise, I get your point, and it is funny.  :)  There are some other
networks like that... ones that would have benefited in their infancy if
the NC had created a few, more general echoes instead of a whole bunch of
very specific ones.
