I don't understand what people like about the KDE 3.x series? I despised it back in the days. I even tried Trinity recently - it still sucks. KDE 1 and 2 were great. KDE 3 was the time when GUIs became bright, colorful, animated and annoying. KDE 5 is still usable on older machines.
