You can create a .img file using a program called imgburn (google it to download it) that will create .img files from directories. I used it back in the day when I was creating .img files of downloaded CD's, which I wanted to create disks from. It worked pretty well.. Not sure how it will work with the Gotek though. If it doesn't like it try copying the files to a subdirectory on the PC and create from there.. Sorry for being vague.. AL ....
