Ahhhhh - yea, a Pi1541 fully emulates the 1541 right?? Appreciate the heads up that there might be some issues using a SD2IEC - do you remember the process you used w/ an SD2IEC? I would prefer to copy the disks byte-for-byte/file-for-file rather than creating a .d64 (or other) image... either will work for my needs but good things to think about - I hope I don't have to buy new hardware but understand.

Same... I'm attempting to restore my 1541 hardware to a condition where it works perfectly with new 5.25 disks - its spotty without any refurbishing, but that will change shortly.

Dude I was just looking at a Kaypro 2000 early 'laptop' - I haven't ever owned a Kaypro and am intrigued.
