I'll have to look up RLFOSSIL for my old Spitfire Dial-up system to see if I can bring it online (TELNET) for cheaper than other companies want. 

I have always kept my menus at minimum ANSI since the dial-up days. I log into other BBS' and it takes so long waiting for those pretty 120+ lines of animated ANSI screens to scroll by (because most of the time ESC or SPACE fails to stop them from continuing). The only time I see a slowness in my screen render times is when I'm getting those 23/2323 TELNET attacks over and over until my new Firewall blocks them (I brought it down to 3 hits within 90 seconds after watching some attempt to access manually - seeing the passwords they are typing - or their BOT simulates slower typing speeds.)
