I already know how to mount them and accidentally learnt how to boot from these images via right CMD+CTRL+ESC to get to some kind of AppleII bios setup and set right slot to be detected for booting. But some work and some generate data access errors. I checked the size of the .po file and they are like single digit MB in size. Unlikely a floppy disk image. Did Apple IIGS support some hard drives as well? -h1 .... Xerox Alto was the thing.
