It's just the family drama... Daddy went to live with his new Amiga and
we got a new Stepdaddy Tramiel.

Though I think from the BBS standpoint, it might have been that by the
time the 16 bits came into prominence (especially in BBS land) they had
moved away from BBS's and perhaps on to PCs.  Probably why there is less
nostalgia for them except from the crowd who actually stuck with the
Atari (or Commodore/Apple) machines longer and ran BBSs under those
platforms.
