Cool!  I had friends who were into MUDs.  It's what first got me into Linux:
I set up a server for friends to run a MUD on.  I never got immersed into a
MUD, but i did play EverQuest and World of Warcraft up to level 20 before i
"called it good."

What do you use for your client?  Plain old telnet?  Tinyfugue?
