I really like my IIgs, it's a pretty awesome early gaming machine. es> Mine has an accelerator, sound card, and disk emulator. It's a trip! The clones I have aren't terribly exciting. They're pretty much just bog standard copies. No extras, like a built in Z80 or anything. On the other hand locally at a reasonable price II+ and IIes have become hard to find. They both came with a variety of cards though so that was something. The + still has floppies on it. The IIe gets a "floppulator" floppy emulator and occasionally shares a MicroDrive Turbo with the IIgs, although I'd like to lay hand to a rev C or HS SCSI card for it. The GS usually has the MicroDrive, a VidHD in it, which I'm not over impressed with, I need to find another old 3:4 early LCD TV with SCART on it. Works a charm with no extra hardware, custom cabling required though. Always say on the GS, you'll never notice the accelerator until you take it out. But there's a lot of stuff that doesn't seem any quicker, even loading GS/OS. Sure if you time it it'll be quicker, but doesn't feel it, at least to me.
