There is actually a dial up modem pool for some telnet BBS's. It's intent is to let people who only have modems (and still have a phone line) to reach telnet BBSs.... .... but I won't lie... I've used OOMA to dial out with a modem via the internet to reach the DUMP only to then call my own telnet BBS. Of course, it's fun once or twice but after that......
