When my kids were remote schooling during covid, I explained to them that they wouldn't have the constant structure they'd have in classrooms, so they'd need to make their own. I got my 12 year-old daughter time blocking, and when she had spare time, using that to work ahead on tomorrow's schedule to free up time. Getting her to "see" time helped her deal with distractions. I like to time-block, As do some others in my office. I've noticed some people's Outlook calendars are booked all day, I'm sure they're blocking their time out and not meeting 8 hours a day. ....
