The fire in the OVH datacenter demonstrated that trusting the cloud to keep
your data backed up is not necessarily a wise move.

I know people has lost up to six months of work due to issues with free or
low-cost storage. If you care to read the ToS of cloud providers, they
typically don t guarantee your data to be properly backed up unless you pay
extra or get specific plans.
