Back in the 90s the last time I used Xtree I believe it had started to run
out of memory to accommodate the number of files in the system.  But this is
probably near end of life MS-SOD and early Win95.

I'm still using it now in my BBS VM's though and it hasn't coughed even on
the NFS mounts yet...

8.3 and drop all the vowels? :)  I think that was about the most common over
here. Most of mine were only 2 dirs deep with files there.. mostly for system
type they belonged to, followed by area...
